Mindpub Cafe

This illustration captures a community hub in south Baltimore’s Riverside nieghborhood as it exists in the day to day.

Halftone textures create a sense of history and texture in an otherwise flat composition — allowing the fine linework and details of the signage to shine throughout the piece.

I ❤️ SOBO Day 2025

1st Place winner of the first-ever SoBo Arts & Crafts Show, Meet Me at the Koba Cafe was created as a celebration for the community of South Baltimore.

First sketched, then illustrated in Procreate, this project was an exploration in texture, composition, and whimsy.

The sweet signs of Charm City

The Domino Sugars sign was recently renovated in 2021, replacing the original neon lighting with energy-efficient LED lights while preserving its appearance and iconic status.

A market with a history

In 1846 Cross Street Market was built to serve the growing population of South Baltimore. As one of the USA's oldest public markets, it has changed and grown over the years. In 2018, the market was renovated and the neon signage was updated to give the market new life.

Season’s Greetings

This holiday take on a beloved Maryland classic, Old Bay, was commissioned in 2018 for a series of holiday cards.

This was first illustrated using watercolors and then was later pulled into photoshop for some light cleanup of linework.
